PowerScribe at Home's FAQ
- How can I run PowerScribe's app from home?
- Download the file, open it, and continue with the setup. Each time you want to open the app, you have to connect to UT Southwestern's VPN beforehand. When the VPN app confirms your connection status, open PowerScribe. You will get two errors that you can ignore (they are telling you that PACS has not been detected). Log-in using your PowerScribe credentials.
- Can I run this app on my Mac?
- No, PowerScribe was developed for Windows and there are no macOS versions available. However, you can use free Windows emulators (such as these) to create a fake Windows environment and run PowerScribe.
